Ask What the Ranking Measures
A choice can be excellent for boss damage but inconvenient for early gathering or safe solo play. Check whether the ranking values speed, survival, rarity, cost, or a particular late-game activity. Do not spend a reroll or rare ingredient because of one letter grade. Compare the requirement with your current inventory and the content you actually play.
Expect Rankings to Change
New mainland content, enemies, potions, and balance changes can move an option up or down. A dated ranking should be treated as a snapshot, not a permanent rule. Test the top candidates in ordinary play before committing to the most expensive one. Comfort, consistency, and restocking cost can matter more than peak output.
